Suspension Training uses bodyweight exercises to develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. It requires the use of the TRX® Suspension Trainer™, a highly portable performance training tool that leverages gravity and the user's body weight to enable hundreds of exercises for every fitness goal. TRX® Suspension Trainer™ exercises allows for the use of multiple planes of motion and works multiple muscles and joints simultaneously. Traditional weight training often only works one muscle at a time and the TRX forces you to use normal coordinated muscle effort, used to complete most everyday activities. Plus the TRX is fun and different and we promise you won't be bored. Also the benefit is it can be done any where. The versatility to be able to take "Your Gym" pretty much with you no matter where you are makes this training device stand alone.
Massage has been proven to create pliability within the muscles of the body. This technique can be accomplished in a multitude of ways, the Trigger Point Performance tools allow you to do this in the most efficient effective manner. Muscular elasticity is crucial to sustain a top level of performance without the factors of fatigue and injury. The Trigger Point TP Massage Ball, TP Footballer and TP Quadballer work to improve your body's performance by increasing the elasticity within the muscles, allowing them to rebound to their natural state. This is achieved through increased blood flow, elevated oxygen use, and reduction of scar tissue and muscle adhesions. An inelastic muscle is like a rope. The muscle loses its ability to lengthen and rebound. In many cases, the "rope-like" muscle has knots in it as well. You can\'t stretch a knot out of a rope and you can't stretch a knot out from a muscle. Myofascial Compression Techniques (MCT) is Trigger Point Performance Therapys revolutionary form of self myofascial release that systematically restores tissue elasticity, fluidity, and function resulting in pain reduction, injury prevention, and performance enhancement. MCT is defined by building compression into the targeted muscle with a TP device. Once compressed, the targeted muscle and limb is taken through a range of motion. Once this is defined, we then take the distal limb through its own pattern of movement replicating everyday functions. The compressed muscle tissue will produce an inhibitory response in the muscle spindle while also addressing associated myofascial dysfunctions such as trigger points, adhesions, and other muscular challenges. With Trigger Point Performance Therapy you will help prevent injury, and prepare you muscles before a training session as well as help them recover after a training session. Once you do it once you will never want to train again without it..
Of course. I started using the normal weights you find in any gym. The tools that TRX offers I feel will get you the best results in the shortest amount of time. But if you prefer going and using free weights and machines I can help design a program that will also fit your personal physical needs. A weight training session can be done in an hour but if you also want cardio training that will require additional time. That is why I like using the TRX gear. In less than one hour we can get your strength training and cardio in and you can continue enjoying the rest of your day.
60 minutes which will include Trigger Point Performance Therapy before and after training
The Rip Trainer is new to the TRX family but works perfectly with the suspension trainer. While the Suspension Trainer generally focuses on high tension loads, static strength and stability, the Rip Trainer highlights rotation, asymmetrical loads and speed. Rotational forces are seen in everyday life (i.e., lifting a child into a car seat) and in sports (i.e., driving a golf ball, hitting a tennis ball, etc). Depending on the task, it is necessary for the body to control rotation and maintain a neutral spine (planking) posture or produce rotation through the hips and thoracic spine. By controlling and producing rotation, we are able to mitigate the risk of injury to the back and reduce energy leaks, which helps with power transfer. Also the benefit is it can be done any where. The versatility to be able to take "Your Gym" pretty much with you no matter where you are makes this training device stand alone. If you want to improve their core stability, balance, power and overall athleticism, try a Rip Training session with me.
